about

I saw a video of Johnny Cash doing this song where he explained that this is not an anti-women song, but an anti-Delia song. I second that sentiment. Johnny Cash had an amazing sense of narrative story telling through his songs. This version is a bit of a mix of the original and a cover version of this song by Ben Nichols (of Lucero).
