Survival Song (Andrew Jackson Jihad)

from Telephone Sessions Mixtape by Michael J. Karlin and the Parade of Horribles

about

Andrew Jackson Jihad has been at the forefront of the folk-punk scene for a while now. I have loved his brutally honest lyrics and raw sound since the first time I saw him live a few years ago. In the original version of this song the bridge has an insert from a Woody Guthrie song. In Ghost Mice's cover of this song they insert in the bridge a piece of a Cure song. For my version I thought it would be fun to insert in the bridge a little bit of a Frank Turner tune, since the two of them are contemporaries.
