The House That Heaven Built (Japandroids)

about

One of my favorite records of 2012 was Japandroid's "Celebration Rock". The album had a certain youthful exuberance that I haven't heard in a long while. Their single "The House That Heaven Built" is a fist pumping anthem for everyone in their post-college years. I thought it would be interesting to try and strip it back a bit; but I still put some lo-fi on it just to get some of the same fuzzy aesthetic of the original.
